SERVICE POLICY (FULL)

COMMUNICATION
Due to DNT's personal schedule, primary communication and the transfer of files are handled primarily through EMAIL.
Please be sure to check your SPAM/JUNK folders for any missed correspondence.
Still, phone consultation is always available to those clients who have secured DNT's services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
DNT (DNT Dynamite Design) is responsible for:
• Providing the requested service for graphic creation upon available resources and sufficient financial support
• Respecting the privacy of all clients and will never sell or trade personal information

The CLIENT is responsible for:
• Giving clear direction of service requested
• Maintaining contact throughout the length of service time
• Providing service payment(s) on time
• Providing the information necessary to complete projects (text, reference images, etc.)
• Ensuring that provided materials do not impose on any copyright or trademarks that have already been established by another company or organization and cannot hold DNT/DNT Dynamite Design liable if this proves to be true

DESIGN SERVICES INCLUDE
• Business Identity & Marketing - logos, business cards, brochures, postcards, web graphics, etc.
• Wedding & Event Graphics - monograms, save-the-dates, programs, flat invitations, baby annoucements, etc.
• Custom Illustrations - hand drawn or vector illustration of people, animals and objects, etc.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
DNT offers CREATIVE/DESIGN services and consultation which can be obtained at an hourly wage based on project's demands.

PRINT - DNT acts as a liasion to acquire print services on the clients behalf. These items are printed by an outside vendor, therefore print services are an additional and separate charge determined by that vendor. DNT can not be held liable for any errors caused by an outside vendor. Please allow for at least 3 weeks to process any print orders and keep in mind that some printing is only available in a set quantity. Inquire within to learn more.

WEB - DNT is available for web design of simple, start up pages, or graphic heavy, multi-paged websites. E-commerce website design is not offered at this time and all webhosting and domain services are separate charges determined by customer preferred vendor such as hostmonster.com, godaddy.com, yahoo.com, etc.

BILLING & SERVICES
Designs are individually priced to include research, labor, design quality, output of finalized design files and to obtain specified usage rights.

This fee comes with at least ONE (1) mock sample and up to TWO (2) rounds of revisions towards completing the final design. After which, an hourly rate fee (1 hour minimum) will be installed to continue design work on any further changes requested by client. Revisions are considered minor yet necessary changes to the concept/mock sample such as color changes, adding or removing elements, changing font styles, etc. You are able to make as many changes as needed in each round.

Logos are created in vector form and are released in the most common file formats of the day along with all copy and ownership rights. >> LEARN MORE!

Unless otherwise noted and with the exception of vector logos, all other design projects will be released in their FLATTENED state in the file formats fit for its intended use according to the license purchased by the client. Please see below for more information.

Quotes and mock samples are based on information provided in DNT's SERVICE REQUEST FORM.
Issued quotes are valid only for 30 consecutive days!

FINAL/APPROVED files are released by email. Files sent out on disc are an additional fee.

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS/REFUNDS
Pricing information, a project start date and an estimated finish date will be given after the review of the project details are received. DNT's project completions average 2-4 weeks. If for some reason, DNT is unable to complete the project by the estimated finish date, then the client will be notified well in advance.

All design services require an initial, NON-REFUNDABLE payment which is 50% (1/2) of total cost to begin work or to be placed on a waiting list if a list exists at the time of deposit.

The remaining payments are due within 30 business days from notice of project completion.
If no payment is received then that project will be deemed DORMANT (see below).

Installments (payment plans) are welcomed, however projects will not be released until the design is paid for in full.
Projects awaiting full payment will reflect DNT's watermark until remaining balance is $0.00

UNAVAILABLE/DORMANT ACCOUNTS
If the client starts a project but does not make any further payments, and decides to abandon or become unavailable for 30 business days or more, without notice or communication, in the middle of the project, then that client’s account becomes dormant.

If the client wishes to return and remove any project from DORMANT status, then the remaining balance must be paid in full plus a reactivation fee of 15% of total project estimate.

DNT accepts all online transactions through PayPal. Please note that having a PayPal account is not required.

No Refunds are offered at this time.
Remember, clients are paying for services which require time and effort from DNT that she can not get back!

DNT/DNT DYNAMITE DESIGN OWNERSHIP & PROPERTY RIGHTS
• With the exception of LOGO artwork, DNT retains ownership on all created art and illustrations
• The grant of any license or copyright is conditioned on receipt of full payment
• All design concepts, which were created in the design process and refused by the Client remains the property of DNT and can be used in other areas of her work

CLIENT'S LICENSE OPTIONS & USER AGREEMENT TOWARDS ILLUSTRATIONS
Clients who reserve DNT's illustration services are in fact purchasing a LICENSE to use the illustration.
However, the option to purchase an illustration outright may be available.

Under this agreement, a credit line acknowledging DNT/DNT Dynamite Design as the creator of the illustration must be intact whenever using the illustration. Client must also provide full detail in writing of the intended use (include media type and projected timeline) of the illustration prior to purchase.

Limited License for PERSONAL Use:
Client agrees that artwork is for a personal, one time/one instance use ONLY (such as party invitations or personal web blog, etc.) and can NOT be used for business. Artwork can NOT be used on items intended for resale or to earn a profit, neither can it be used on any promotional materials.

Limited License for BUSINESS Use:
Client purchases rights to use artwork in specified media and promotional purposes. Illustration cannot be reproduced or incorporated into any other print, web based, or video/film media without an amended contract from DNT stating the use allowance has been granted and paid for. Artwork can NOT be used on items intended for resale or to earn a profit.

TRANSFER OWNERSHIP:
Client purchases complete copyright and ownership of commissioned artwork to use as they wish. DNT will claim no rights to this work except for showcasing it in her portfolios unless a NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT is requested and signed.

IMPORTANT:
ALL PERSONAL LICENSES are valid for the duration of that personal project.
ALL BUSINESS LICENCES are valid for the duration specified in contract/license agreement.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
• DNT is not responsible for errors made by outside vendors such as printers or webhost providers
• DNT Dynamite Design is not responsible for any claims or legal actions taken against any designs purchased
• DNT will not work on or produce any material that she identifies as inappropriate for family friendly atmospheres

By doing business with DNT, you agree to this Service Policy.
