DIY Wedding Invite

My hubby came home today with the first completed invitation for his sister’s upcoming wedding! The lovely bride asked me to add some flair to the invitation wording and so I did by using some romantically styled fonts. I designed the invitation and rsvp cards and the bride and groom had it printed and cut on beautiful metallic cardstock before they assembled it themselves.

I think it came out great!

Friday Find

So I was cleaning out my desk drawer and I found a sketch I did back in 2006. It’s of a little girl holding a present larger than she is. How cute!

A series of similar sketches were used as greeting card covers.

Seeing this sketch reminds me that I need to hand draw a lot more.

Pricing a Logo

A general rule of thumb to determine the cost of a professionally designed logo is to consider the time spent in research & development, the level of logo quality produced, the transfer of rights and of files plus the expected life span of the final logo design (well thought out logos have a life span of up to 10 years). Factoring in all this, an individual or small company should be prepared to pay anywhere from $300 to $1500 for a premium quality logo.

2nd Time Around

I recently created a large scale banner for a client who happens to be a good friend of mine. She just started her own fashion business and here you see the lovely entrepreneur posing next to her new banner!

Baby Lamb Canvas Art

Here’s a view of one my drawings depicted on canvas wall art for decorating baby nurseries. The drawing is of a baby lamb that is apart of my DynaSmiles Babies Collection.

This particular piece was customized with the client’s preferred text and color scheme to create a beautiful gift given away at a baby shower.

Don’t forget, I could customize your very own wall art to decorate your home or to give as a gift!
